SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY VALENTINES CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

Today was my turn to create the sketch for SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY.  Here is the sketch we are working with:

And here is my card I made for this week.  I used the Stacked with Love Valentine paper from SU, the new hearts embossing folder and the Embosslits  Scalloped Heart of Hearts by Sizzix.

When I first made the card, it looked like this.  As I looked at it, I realized it needed something else, so I added the black and white dsp banner and I think that completed it.

These little heart sequins are from the In Color Sequins.

A closeup of the embossing hearts folder.  I LOVE it.  And I have always loved the Embosslits Scalloped Heart of Hearts.  It is so pretty with the dsp cut out with it also as a shadow behind it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Plum and Wisteria VALENTINE CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

Can you guess what I have for you today??  YEP - another VALENTINE CARD.  This one can actually be any occasion because I made PENGUINS with the OWL PUNCH.  A fellow demo, Darlene, from Darlene's Designs made a similar card at Christmas for a winter card, but I changed up the colors and added hearts on the Penguins to make a Valentine Card.

I used the flip card thinlit I have, which is NOT the circle flip card like Darlene used.  But I think it still looks cute!!

Here is a closeup of the two adorable Penguins made with the OWL PUNCH.  They are absolutely adorable, yes??

I extended the length of the right side of the flip card so that it folds into the middle and there is plenty of space to write a message.  This card is going to my youngest granddaughters for Valentine's Day so they know their Nannie and Grampa miss them and love them.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please come back again, won't you?

ANOTHER VALENTINE CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

I have another valentine card to share with you today.

I saw a similar card on Pinterest and knew I had to create a card like this.  I created the black and white Designer paper myself by using white Stazon ink and the SNUGGLES & SMOOCHES stamp set.  The hearts in red and white on the right side is DSP from the Occasions Catalog called Bundled with Love.

Inside I put a white piece of card stock and used the Language of Love hearts stamp in Real Red Ink.

The Language of Love stamp set was used on the front along with the heart punch and fussy cutting the banners.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Come back again this week for another Valentine card.  I have been busy with stamping Valentines.  See ya' later.

VALENTINE CARD IN POOL PARTY

HEY BLOGGIES,

I like to use all colors for Valentines.  Blues are some of my fav Valentine's colors.  Below is a card I made for two challenges this week:

1.  CAN YOU CASE IT? challenge using Pool Party, Gold and White
2. SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY challenge using  the following sketch:

HERE IS MY CARD:

I created this card with a removable bookmark on the right side.  This one is put on with 2-way glue for easy removal.

Here is the card partially opened so you can see how the flap comes over the front with the bookmark attached.

And now an up close view of the removable bookmark.  I used the Hearts Border Punch to punch out the heart border decorations and then used the hearts here and there on my card.

I hope you enjoyed this card.  Hop on over to CAN YOU CASE IT and SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY to see some more wonderful ideas using these colors!!

Thanks for stopping by.  I would love to hear from you about my card.

SHAPED BIRTHDAY CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

By now everyone knows how much I   L.O.V.E. my Big Shot machine.  There are so many different things you can use it for and I love every last one of them!!  Today I used it with my circle framelits to create a round shaped birthday card:

I put the circle framelit just a little bit above the fold of a piece of card stock and cut it with the Big Shot.  I then created my own piece of background paper with watercolor paper and an embossing folder and some inks and cut it with my Starburst framelit.

I used it one more time on this card by using the Happy Birthday thinlit die and some black card stock and ran it through the Big Shot to create my sentiment.  I also used my build a cupcake punch and used the candles outside while the cupcake was used inside.  Added a few star sequins and VOILA a great shaped birthday card.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  I appreciate your visits.  See you again in a few days with another fun creation.

SNUGGLES AND SMOOCHES CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

Today I have a very easy and simple card made with SNUGGLES AND SMOOCHES photopolymer stamp set (#140326)

Pink pirouette is the card base, with pink dsp and black card stock for the strip behind the art piece. (and YES I did put it a little wonky on purpose to catch your eye!!)  Then on the card base I used pirouette ink and lightly stamped all over to make my very own background.

I used the starburst die and my BIG SHOT cut the black where I used versa mark and my largest rose in the Snuggles and Smooches set and then used blushing bride and melon mambo embossing powder.  I then added a few dots of cherry cobbler dazzling details here and there to finish it up,

Hope you enjoyed my simple and pretty card.  It can be a birthday card, a valentine, a thank you...whatever you want.  Come visit SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY to see the other design team creations.

FROM THE HERD

HEY BLOGGIES,

I have a funny post for you today.  On Pinterest, there is a photo going around that is almost exactly like the FROM THE HERD stamp set.  Here it is:

Isn't this a HOOT??!!  I wonder who posed these animals to look so much like this stamp set?  The only difference is they put a sheep instead of a pig.  Look at that funny rooster!!

Here is the stamp set so you can see the amazing similarity!!

Isn't that a HOOT!!!

Here is a card from fellow demo Frenchie.  Didn't she do a great job coloring it?  Look at that crazy Llama!!  I am still waiting for my set to arrive this week.  But I just HAD to show you this amazing photo!!

Thanks for stopping by.
