The FRIDAY MASHUP has us trying a new technique on our cards - ink blowing. Whaat??? Yep, just like when we were in grade school except with our re-inkers we drop a few spots of ink on the paper then take a straw and blow the ink around the paper.
Here is my take on the idea. I mashed it up because you could also follow their colors of Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Basic Black. Yep, I did that.
On a piece of basic black card stock I stamped with versamark and used crushed curry embossing powder for the HOORAY sentiment.
That's all there is to it!! I believe I will do another and do smaller "splats" of the blown ink to see how that looks.

ReplyDeleteWow, the swallowtail stamp really provides a cool contrast with the technique, I love it! I do think that I am the only person who never did this technique in grade school though, after reading all the blogs LOL
