I WAS THINKING HOW IT MIGHT GET A BIT COOLER AS WE GET CLOSER TO FALL. IT WAS 104 YESTERDAY. I WAS OUTSIDE WATERING MY 2 LITTLE PEPPER PLANTS AND I JUST ABOUT MELTED.
TO GET US THINKING ABOUT COOL AND FALL, I HAVE A HALLOWEEN POST FOR YOU TODAY.
MY FAVORITE THING I OWN FROM STAMPING UP IS MY BIG SHOT. IT IS THE MOST AWESOME TOOL EVER!! THE MINI MILK CARTON DIE AND MY BIG SHOT TOGETHER CREATED THIS WICKED LITTLE TREAT CONTAINER WITH FLAGS.
HOW DID YOU DO THAT? I AM GLAD YOU ASKED. THE DIE CUTS OUT THE CARD STOCK AND SCORES WHERE YOU FOLD IT. AFTER FOLDING IT, IT JUST TAKES ONE STRIP OF ADHESIVE FOR THE SIDES AND ONE FOR THE BOTTOM AND YOU HAVE THE PERFECT LITTLE CARTON FOR CANDY. I SPONGED ALL THE CORNERS AND FOLDS WITH A SMALL BIT OF BLACK INK. THEN I USED MY PENNANT PUNCH TO CUT OUT THE FLAGS AND BANNER. THE WICKED STAMP SET IS THE PERFECT CHOICE FOR HALLOWEEN FOR ME. (OH OH, I SEE MY DSP WAS COMING UNGLUED ON THE BACK SIDE...SORRY)
I USED A DRINKING STRAW TO HOLD THE SPIDER FLAGS AND POKED IT INSIDE MY MILK CARTON. I CLOSED THE CARTON WITH A MINI CLIP WITH A SPIDER TO COVER IT UP, PUNCHED BY A SMALL CIRCLE PUNCH. A STRIP OF RETIRED DSP AROUND THE CARTON TIES ALL THE SPIDERS AND SPOOKINESS TOGETHER. OH LOOK, THERE IS A COORDINATING CARD TO GIVE WITH YOUR TREAT...
ONE OF THE STAMPS IN THE SPOOKY STAMP SET IS A SPIDER WEB...PERFECT!! I STAMPED WITH GRAY INK ALL OVER THE CARD FRONT, THEN STAMPED IN BLACK THE SPOOKY STAMP. I ADDED CRYSTAL EFFECTS TO THE SPOOKY WORD TO GIVE IT THAT SCARIE SHINE. SOME MORE DSP AND SOME GREEN RIBBON AND MY CARD IS COMPLETE. WHAT KIND OF TREATS SHOULD I PUT INTO MY CARTON?
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HALLOWEEN/FALL CANDY?
THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY. WON'T YOU LEAVE ME A COMMENT? IT HELPS ME KEEP STAMPING AND COMING UP WITH NEW IDEAS WHEN I HEAR FROM YOU.
SPOOKY TUESDAY TO Y'ALL!!
Spooky card and milk carton. Love the colors and images used.

Wow! It's a complete set. I think the carton should hold candy corn and nuts. :-) Thanks for adding your projects to my blog hop!
