For those customers who ordered the HEART BORDER PUNCH that was on sale last week in our WEEKLY DEALS, I am sending two different cards for you to use for ideas in making cards with your punch.
Today I am showing two of my cards I designed using this Discounted HEART BORDER PUNCH, It is actually one idea that I changed up to make two different cards. When I have several cards to make that are the same, I like to change them up a bit. It keeps me from getting bored while making them AND I keep my creativity fresh.
This first one used Cherry Cobbler and Pink Pirouette. The strip of pink is where I used the heart border punch as well as I glued on some cherry cobbler hearts I had punched out for a card just like this but with reversed colors.
Then I got to looking at the large heart and thought it would be perfect for me to use to die cut out the LOVE and then use the negative part or the whole heart on the card. This one is real red with pink pirouette. I just kept the LOVE intact inside my die while I put dimensionals on the heart and attached to my card. Then I took out the little bits inside the letters one by one and glued them into the word HOLES in the heart. (like the loop inside the "L", the two spots inside the "O", etc.) I REALLY like how this looks and I liked it so much I made the rest of my customer's cards with this design.
