Hello and welcome to day one of our blog hop this month.  We are all demonstrators for Stampin' Up! and are SO EXCITED that we have a new Spring Catalog AND that SALE-A-BRATION STARTS today!!!  What is that you ask?? I am so glad you asked.  For every $50 you spend on any of our product, you get to pick a FREE ITEM from the Sale-a-bration flyer.  FOR FREE - did I mention that if you give a workshop in your home and have friends over, they also get a FREE ITEM for each $50 of product they order AND you get an EXTRA FREE ITEM when your party reaches $400.  This is in addition to the HOSTESS DOLLARS you earn and can spend on any catalog items you choose!!  WOW WOW WOW.  So now you see why we are so excited about this time of year.  HURRY AND CONTACT ONE OF US QUICKLY SO YOU CAN GET YOUR CHOICE OF DATES FOR YOUR WORKSHOP.

I chose to use this fabulous background stamp SWALLOWTAIL.  It is a large butterfly that is perfect even for small projects.

Isn't this an awesome stamp??!!  I stamped it with versamark on a pink pirouette card stock and then used early espresso embossing powder and heat embossed the image.

I used a sponge and highlighted certain areas with pretty in pink, melon mambo and pink pirouette ink, they rubbed it all over with a towel because the embossing powder will resist the ink and it will just sit there wet until you rub it off.

I attached this panel to a panel of melon mambo cs and then put it on the pink pirouette card base.  I used some glue and dazzling diamonds glitter in certain areas to make them shine.

And for this cute little sentiment I used the FREE PETITE CURLY LABEL PUNCH from sale-a-bration along with the FREE PRETTY PETITES STAMP SET also from sale-a-bration.  I put it up with dimensionals on a melon mambo regular curly label punched cs.

What do you think? Isn't this stamp now at the top of your MUST HAVE list?  It is in the Spring Catalog and is a wonderful background stamp.  I have two more cards for you with this stamp:

Here it is in blue embossing powder on a daffodil delight card stock.  I fussy cut it out with my paper snips and attached it to island indigo card stock and then a card base of so saffron cs.

Here is another one but after I fussy cut it out, I used some ink and a sponge to add some highlight colors.  I added more mustard, daffodil delight, marina mist and island indigo inks to the wings here and there.

This sentiment is again from the PRETTY PETITES FREE STAMP SET with the FREE PETITE CURLY LABEL PUNCH backed by the curly label punch.

I would love to know what you think of my cards.  Won't you leave me a comment?  I HAVE BLOG CANDY:

1.  Leave a comment each day of the hop. Make sure I can contact you if you win.
2.  If you become a follower, you have another chance to win.  IF you are already a follower, leave another comment telling me you are. But I won't force you to be a follower.

That's it!!  At the end of the hop I will be giving some fun items away from Stampin' Up! and the winner may be YOU.
