EXTRA DAY

ONE EXTRA DAY OF SALE-A-BRATION ITEMS TO SHOW YOU.  I JUST COULDN'T FIT IT ALL INTO OUR 4 DAYS OF BLOG HOPPING!!

This is the HAPPY HELLO SIMPLY SENT KIT which is, you guessed it, FREE with SALE-A-BRATION!!  It is a kit to make cards, but I wanted to show you how easy you can make other projects, like this gift box for goodies.  I got the idea on the web and the directions from Barb M. at Barbstamps.com.  Thanks girlie!!

You can see how the kit looks on the left and on the far right how the paper looks.  And a little peek into the box as well for the chocolate goodies!!  YUMMM

The embellishment of the 3 layer flowers and the stripe are self adhesive die cuts that come in the kit, as well as the rhinestones on the left side.  I added the blue brad inside the flower from my stash.  And of course I added the cellophane bag of candy tied with summer starfruit ribbon from my stash as well!!  (grin)

Directions for scoring.  Lay it down flipped pattern side down,  the Tall way on the score tool where you will score at 1" and 4 1/2: all the way down.

Then turn it the Long way on the score tool and score at 3" only. (It is even with where the the printed chevrons end on the backside.) There is another score line about 1" below that which comes already scored when you receive it.

You cut the two tab areas where the Long scores meet the Tall scores.  These are your tabs and you put Sticky Strip on the outside of these and also on the top along the outer edge as shown in the photo.

I just wanted you to see how the blue printed chevrons show on the side once you adhere them over.  It does not go all the way around.  You adhere the back white piece first on the small tab, then adhere the blue piece.

That's all there is to it.  You can now make cute gift boxes of goodies to go with your cards from this FUN and FREE Simply Sent Kit.

Hope you enjoyed this simple tutorial.  Here's to creativity y'all!!
