SIMPLE BUT ELEGANT CHRISTMAS CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

Surprise!!  I am back with a blog post. I am so sorry it has been a while  My creativity was NEGATIVE, ZERO, ZILCH, NADA.  But I persisted to keep looking at creative ideas from other stampers hoping my lost creativity would kick in.  YIPPEE - yesterday I FINALLY got a little bit of creativity itching to come out and I did three Christmas cards and I liked them and decided to go with them for this year.

Thanks so so many stampers who share their ideas on their blogs, and on Pinterest so that I was able to figure out what to do by combining several of those ideas.

Here are my cards.  Each one is just a little bit different, but I really like them!!

 Crumb cake and Night of Navy ink; ivory, crumb cake and night of navy card stock; Woodlands embossing folder, decorative label punch, Lovely as a Tree stamp set plus a retired set for the sentiment.

Believe it or not, these are all made with the same colors, but different intensities make them look a bit different.

 I love how the evergreen trees are peeping out from behind the birch trees, don't you?

SCORED AND FOLDED CHRISTMAS TREES WITH HERSHEY KISSES CANDY

THESE LITTLE CHRISTMAS TREES MADE WITH HERSHEY KISS CHOCOLATES ARE SO STINKIN' CUTE!!  I GOT THE DIRECTIONS FROM QBEE'S BLOG.  PLEASE TELL HER I SENT YOU OVER THERE, WON'T YOU?  THANKS BRENDA FOR SHARING YOUR IDEAS WITH ALL OF US IN BLOGGIE-LAND!!  YOU ARE AWESOME.

THESE ARE VERY EASY TO GET AN ASSEMBLY LINE GOING AND MAKE A BUNCH.  WITH SOME OF US EATING SOME OF THE KISSES (WON'T MENTION WHO), I GOT 7 TREES OUT OF ONE REGULAR SIZED BAG OF CANDY.  WITH LOTS MORE NUGGETS LEFT FOR MORE TREE TRUNKS.

 DID YOU NOTICE THAT THE TREE TRUNKS HAVE HERSHEY'S NUGGETS CANDIES IN THEM?  OMG, I L.O.V.E. THESE CANDIES.  YUMMMMM

 THE TREE IS MADE FROM GARDEN GREEN CARD STOCK CUT AT 2" WIDE AND FOLDED IN HALF LONG-WISE TO MAKE IT 1" WIDE.  THE INSIDE "Z" FOLDS ARE MADE WITH SINGLE THICKNESS OF CARDSTOCK.

THE TRUNKS ARE AGAIN DOUBLE THICKNESS GLUED TOGETHER OF CHOCOLATE CHIP CARD STOCK.  A NEAT RIBBON AROUND THE TREE PART ONLY BEFORE YOU GLUE ON THE TRUNK ADDS THE FINISHING TOUCH.

I PACKAGED THEM SEPARATELY INTO ONE OF SU'S CLEAR ENVELOPES AND ADDED A DIE CUT SNOWFLAKE FROM BRUSHED GOLD CARD STOCK WITH A RHINESTONE IN THE CENTER.  I THINK THAT MADE IT LIKE THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM ON TOP.
