FRINGE SCISSORS, ITEM #133325

Fringe Scissors New Tool & a Tip!

The new Fringe Scissors (Item # 133325 ) from Stampin' UP! is a great tool to add additional interest on your projects. This quick and easy tip will allow you to get that perfect line of fringe. Step 1: On the back side of your paper, use a straight edge to draw a line where you want your fringe to stop. Step 2: Use your Fringe Scissors snipping up to your stop line. Do this again right next to where you just snipped.  You can roll up this length of snipped paper to create a flower;  you can adhere the straight line of snips as a piece of background or as an additional element on your project, and so much more. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX WHEN CREATING CARDS....

Are you enjoying seeing all the PRETTY NEW THINGS in the OCCASIONS CATALOG ONLINE??  me too!!

AND I am working on my swaps for Leadership which starts this Weds. evening in HOUSTON!!  I am so excited that it is just 50 miles from me so that I can attend.  This will be my FIRST EVER STAMPIN' UP EVENT to attend and I am really excited about it.

I saw a really really REALLY CUTE stamp set that is coming out in our Sale-a-Bration event on JAN. 28TH and because I am a demonstrator I was able to earn it early so I could show you some creations with it.  I can't show you the stamp set, but I can show you my creation:

I am trading large tags instead of cards this time.  The words are from the Sale-a-Bration set called "See Ya Later".  BUT I substituted a LARGER gator on my card instead of the little one that comes in this stamp set.

I used the gator from ZOO BABIES stamp set and really like the size of it.  I added some cherry cobbler dazzling details on his heart.  What else new do you see here?  A DECORATIVE DOTS embossing folder from Sale-a-Bration as well.  I thought it looked bumpy like a 'gator or frog's skin, and I rubbed crumb cake ink on the bumps for more definition.

I cut out large scallops with my BIG SHOT for the edges.

ANOTHER NEW ITEM from the OCCASIONS CATALOG is the STARBURST FRAMELITS  DIES SET.  There are 5 graduated sizes in the set.  It coordinates with the STARBURST SAYINGS stamp set and you can even bundle and save 15% by purchasing both of them with the BUNDLE #134817 (wood) OR BUNDLE #134818 (Clear).

Between the dots, the scallops and the starbursts, this tag says ALLIGATOR all the way, doesn't it??!!

MORE CARDS FROM SIMPLY SENT GOOD AS GOLD KIT

I am showing some NEW ITEMS coming up in January from the SALE-A-BRATION Catalog and this GOOD AS GOLD SIMPLY SENT KIT is awesome!!

Here are two cards I made with the kit.

 I am especially loving the card base with the coastal cabana, crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding, baked brown sugar and shiny gold foil POLKA DOTS.  They make this card so fun!!   I also LOVE LOVE LOVE that the thank you die cuts are IN THREE LANGUAGES!!  That is so trendy right now to have French, German, etc. in decor.  LOVE IT!!

And the die cuts come in all the coordinating colors to match the card base.  The card base is very heavy card stock while is PERFECT in my humble opinion!!

SNEAK PEEK AT NEW SALE-A-BRATION CATALOG GOODIES

I just got my pre-order for the OCCASIONS CATALOG and SALE-A-BRATION  delivered TODAY!!  YIPPEE!!  The Occasions Catalog is not active until  January, but as a demonstrator, I need to have the items to plan my demonstrations early.  Therefore, I whooped and hollered when I got my package TODAY.

 I chose to first show you this wonderful SIMPLY SENT KIT called GOOD AS GOLD.  It is a kit for enough to make at least 8 cards, 8 envelopes and 8 liners for the envelopes.  Also a sheet of die cuts, the gold twine and the baker's twine..  LOVE IT.  AND IT IS FREE FREE FREE WITH ANY $50 ORDER!!

 I chose to make the popular file folder cards with the insert you slide into the file folder.  I made the insert with the ENVELOPE LINER (the gold sheet).  FUN FUN FUN.  I adhered the skinny coastal cabana banner, the MERCI banner and then a gold  foil sheet banner with a star punched out.  I then used the star as the DOT on my "I"  in MERCI.

   I cut the top to look like a tab topped file folder and glued "thank you" die cut banner on the insert. It just slides into the file folder card that is held together with the twines.

Closer look at the shiny gold foil insert where you write your message.

Hope you enjoyed looking at the NEW PRODUCT.  I could have just made the cards and lined the envelopes like the kit suggests, BUT WHERE IS THE SPORT IN THAT, HUH?
