DOWNLINE CARDMAKING NIGHT

HEY BLOGGIES,

Tonight some of my downline came over and we created a Father's Day Card and a New InColors Bookmarker.  It was a fun evening that was laid back, fun and with lots LOTS of talking and laughing.  The Father's Day card was kept very simple so we could focus on our business meeting and discuss the amazing new catalog going live in about a week!

Being a bit unorganized because of my moving, I forgot to take photos of our cards.  However Karen was sweet enough to email me a photo of her card so I could share it with you.  I designed it and provided the supplies; Tammy used her ecutter and MDS downloads for the sentiment and the embossed oval, and Karen made this one...DEFINITELY A TEAM EFFORT.  That is what I love about Stampin' Up!  Meeting new people who become customers, friends and then join your team so we can do even MORE things together.  These sweet ladies in my life have enriched it very much and I am thankful they found me so that we could become friends/

 A tradition I like to do each new catalog reveal is to have everyone make a bookmark of some kind that shows the NEW IN COLORS.  Last night we used PETITE PETALS stamp set and the 5 new BEAUTIFUL IN COLORS to create our bookmarks.

We also used some scrumptious satin Hello Honey ribbon and the new thicker twine in Baked Brown Sugar for the top.  And that cute scallop top is made by using the SCALLOP TAG TOPPER PUNCH - a MUST for everyone!!  You can make tags, banners, goodie holders, decorative cards, etc.  Very worth the investment to purchase this punch.

MOSSY  MEADOW, BLACKBERRY BLISS, HELLO HONEY, LOST LAGOON AND TANGELO TWIST are the names of these YUMMY colors  -  almost good enough to eat!!

NEW IN COLORS

Another card I am having as a make and take for my open house next week for my customers.  I like to make a card with all 5 of the new in colors on it each year.

 I saw a similar card on the web by fellow demo Penny Smile.  Thanks Penny!

I also used the new Mosaic punch and stamp set to add just a bit to this clean and simple card.

I am looking forward to making more cards with these new in-colors.

OPEN HOUSE FOR ALL MY LOCAL CUSTOMERS

I AM HAVING A FUN OPEN HOUSE AND NEW CATALOG PARTY FOR ALL MY LOCAL CUSTOMERS.  I HAVE MADE 3 FUN MAKE AND TAKES FOR THEM TO DO.

 I CHOSE THIS PATRIOTIC CARD IN HONOR OF INDEPENDENCE DAY COMING UP.  I USED THE STAR DIE FOR MY BIG SHOT, BRIGHTS BRADS, THE RIBBON PUNCH AND LACED UP CHERRY COBBLER STRIPED BAKERS TWINE THROUGH THE HOLES.  INSIDE WE WILL STAMP THE FLAG A LA CART STAMP FROM THE SUMMER MINI.  NAVY, REAL RED AND DAFFODIL DELIGHT ARE THE CARD STOCK WITH SOME RETIRED BLUE FOR THE DIE CUT STARS.

THIS CARD IDEA ABOVE WAS TAKEN FROM THE ONLINE DEMO SITE FOR OUR STAMPIN DEMONSTRATORS MONTHLY MAGAZINE.  I CHANGED THE STAMP I USED TO THE NEW HOSTESS SET SIMPLY SOFT WHICH IS A 2-STEP STAMP ( I LOVE 2-STEP STAMPS), AS WELL AS THE FIVE NEW IN COLORS BEING INTRODUCED IN THIS NEW CATALOG.  I USED MY DOTTED SCALLOP PUNCH TO MAKE THOSE LAYERS ON THE RIGHT.  I USED EARLY ESPRESSO AND ONE PART OF MY STITCHING WHEEL WHICH I CUT APART TO MAKE INTO SEPARATE STAMPS.  THIS IS THE STITCHING ALL AROUND THE CARD EDGE.  LOOKS PRETTY REAL I THINK.  THEN I USED A CLEARANCE RACK CRUMB CAKE CORDOROY BUTTON WITH ESPRESSO STRIPED BAKERS TWINE TIED ON THE BUTTON.  I AM LETTING THEM CHOOSE THE SENTIMENT THEY WANT INSIDE THEIR CARD.

MADE A CUTE BOOKMARK WITH ALL FIVE OF THE NEW IN COLORS.  CALYPSO CORAL, WISTERIA WONDER, LUCKY LIMEADE, ISLAND INDIGO AND POOL PARTY.  USED THE  BUNDLE OF FLOWERS FROM THE LOAD OF FUN STAMP SET, AND THEN HAND LETTERED THE NAMES OF THE NEW COLORS WITH THE NEW MARKERS.  SPONGED THE EDGES WITH LUCKY LIMEADE AND STAPLED A BIT OF RIBBON AT THE TOP.  ON THE BACK IS ALL MY WEBSITE AND TELEPHONE INFO SO THEY CAN CONTACT ME WHEN THEY NEED SOMETHING.

I HAVE LOTS OF SAMPLES FOR THEM TO LOOK AT AND A WISHLIST FOR THEM TO FILL OUT AS THEY STUDY THE SUPPLES AND STAMP SETS I HAVE AVAILABLE AND AS THEY POUR OVER THE NEW CATALOG.  MY WISH LIST IS VERY VERY LONG!!
