SPRINGTIME = BUTTERFLIES AND FLOWERS

HEY BLOGGIES,

Today I have a beautiful butterfly card to share with you.  I actually made two, but was late sending one out and it went out in the mail before I realized I FORGOT TO TAKE A PHOTO FIRST!!  grrr

So, I only have one to share with you today.

I inked up my Butterflies Embossing Folder randomly and then put it through my Big Shot with Pink Pirouette cardstock.

I punched out a few butterflies from retired designer paper and used markers to make their bodies show up.  I glued them onto my card.  You can see I used the three corner punch on the top right corner of my card to add a bit more decoration to it.  I LOVE THIS PUNCH!!

One more look at my card (before I punched the top right corner and before I used the markers on their bodies.)  I love how it turned out. Soft but cheerful.  I will stamp the sentiment on the inside when I am ready to use it.  This card can be for any occasion, depending upon the sentiment you would choose.

Thanks for stopping by!!

SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

Where did this week go??  I have been a bit under the weather for a few days and before I knew it - BAM it's Friday again!

Here is the sketch for this week from SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY:

This is my card using this sketch:

I used the Petite Petals stamp set and the matching punch for my flowers.  I used my aqua painter and daffodil delight ink to lightly color the flowers.  The Butterfly Basics stamp set and mini butterfly punch created the little butterfly.

I thought the three hexagon punched shapes suggested bees, which I LOVE to see in my garden.  The Geometrical stamp set was used  for the outline of the hexagon that the butterfly is perched upon.

This is the inside of my card kept very simple with just two different washi tape pieces at the bottom, ready for the note to be handwritten to the recipient.

One last look.  I do so love black, white and yellow together, don't you?

Thanks for stopping by.  Hop on over to Sketch Frenzy Friday to see what my design team mates have created.

I THINK YOU ARE AMAZING....

The LOVELY ROMANCE set coordinates with the Chalk Talk Framelits.  There are actually 3 or 4 sets that coordinate with these Framelits in the new annual catalog and I GOT THEM ALL.  (grin)

Crushed Curry and Soft Suede on Whisper white are the colors of this card.  I used the Chevron Embossing Folder and rolled ink on it before running it thru the Big Shot. .Texture and color - gotta love it!

The sentiment is soft suede with a soft suede layer behind it.  LOVING these FRAMELITS and STAMP SETS that COORDINATE, aren't you??!!

I put some yellow pompom trim along the left side of the chevron layer, and sponged crushed curry ink all around the entire card base. See the bling of a large pearl on the sentiment.  Just a little something special.

Did you notice the pretty DSP down the left side of the card?  AND the cute butterfly double layered on the right side?  FUN FUN FUN

CLEAN AND SIMPLE NOTE CARDS SET - BUTTERFLY PUNCHES

SUMMERTIME - LOVE IT.  Especially since I have a BUTTERFLY GARDEN and all the beautiful butterflies come around to rest, drink nectar and lay eggs on their host plants.

I saw an idea similar to one of these note cards on the web and thought I would make a gift set with them.  I love how clean and simple they are and hope you will too.

Here are the four cards in the set.  Each one is a tiny bit different but all very similar because they are part of a set.  I used a retired THINKING OF YOU sentiment, but any sentiment will do.

This is just a one layer card so is the most simple one.  I punched the print paper butterfly with the Beautiful Butterfly Punch and then glued a whisper white petite butterfly punched out on top of it.

This one is so pretty with white on white layers.  I punched the butterfly out of the white layer and then glued a piece of the designer paper on the card base under where the punch out.  I popped up the layer with lots of stampin dimensionals, added the little white butterfly and a pearl.

Here is the two layer card again, but with the sentiment a bit higher up on the card.

Here is another two layer card but with the butterfly punched out on the left side of the card.

This will make a nice birthday set or thank you set for teachers.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
