SPRING, GLORIOUS SPRING HERE IN EAST TEXAS

HEY BLOGGIES,

We have had a fantastic week of spring weather and our trees burst forth with their leaves.  Lots of flowering bushes and trees and treating us to their beauty also.

Our LNS challenge for this week is to create a card that says SPRING.  I choose the FREE stamp set PETAL PARADE from saleabration.

I chose strawberry slush and bermuda bay for my color combo.  The paper is Geometric DSP.  This is also for the Monday TECHNO STAMPER LUNCHTIME CHALLENGE

Oh, I also used a bermuda bay candy dot on top of my popped up flower.  And created the ribbon/banner with the stamp set, bermuda bay ink and coastal cabana card stock.

I created a matching envie by sticking the envie closed and cutting off the left side.  Then I added bermuda bay card stock for the flap, and stamped some more to match the card.

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope you come back again soon.

A GEOMETRIC TAG

HEY BLOGGIES,

I created another fun tag similar to the ones we made at Leadership.  This is for Retro Sketches.

LOVING THOSE FRINGE SCISSORS!!  I love the fringe at the bottom of this tag.

I made this a THANKS tag with the flag in the middle.  Notice the candy dots pick up the same colors in the DSP?   Also, I made the candy dots into the triangle shape to echo the triangles on the tag for cohesion.

Strawberry slush, coastal cabana and crushed curry are the three colors on this fun bright tag.

How did I made the hollow triangles?  punch a triangle, then snip around it very closely and carefully to have just a thin border to use on the tag.  Save the punched triangle solid for another project, OF COURSE!!

I used the tag topper punch to create the tag; also used the basic metal button and silver bakers twine.

Thanks for stopping by to visit.  Wont you leave me a comment?
