WINDOW FRAMELITS CARD FOR HALLOWEEN

I have been playing around with my window framelits trying to see what else I could do with them.  I just haven't used them as much as I would like to.

I used one to cut the shape of the card and then used two other sizes to cut the dsp to decorate the card.

I used elegant eggplant for the base of the card.  Witches Brew dsp is used for the two decorative pieces in the middle.  

The Halloween Happiness stamp was stamped on pumpkin pie card stock. 

When you open the folds, there are two pieces of pumpkin pie to write your message.

BLOG HOP DAY THREE - PUMPKINS AND CROWS -- BOO

Here is the other side of my Halloween display at my home.  We have crows every spring who make a nest in our neighborhood and raise a few babies.  Trivia:  What do you call a flock of crows??  Answer:   It is called a murder of crows.  I have NO IDEA WHY!!

I used the Witches Brew Designer Paper Pack again for my adorable little pumpkins.  And the stem is just some brown packing paper scrunched up and glued on the top.  I think I need to add some vine curlicues or leaves to them, what do you think?

The crow, of course, is not real and is from the Dollar Store. But he fits perfectly with my field of pumpkins I think.

My card I created is an easy, quick card made with the Halloween Washi Tape and the Halloween Happiness Stamp set.

I stamped with versamark on black card stock and tangerine tango embossing powder heat embossed. Then I layered it to Witches Brew designer paper and onto 4 pieces of Washi Tape.  The base of the card is summer starfruit, which is one of the colors in the designer paper.

The added BLING is the clay embellishment.  Isn't it awesome??!!  I added a few drops of pumpkin pie to the stampin pressed clay, then I inked up the sentiment SPOOKY in black ink and pressed it down into the clay.  I let it dry and it was too light in color for me.  So I used my marker to color over the pumpkin pie clay again.  I used a bronze piece of stretch cord to attach it to my card.  What do you think of this NEW TECHNIQUE I invented?  This clay is amazing and in the next few days I will be showing other things I have done with it.

SNEEK PEAK AT NEW HOLIDAY ITEMS

Here is an unusual fellow we saw yesterday morning on my husband's car antenna.  Yes, he is alive and real. We googled him and he is a Gold Winged Orange Skimmer Dragonfly.  Not supposed to be in Texas, they live in Mexico, but with climate changes, etc, no one told him!!  They are also found in Eastern Coastal US.

JUST A FEW MORE DAYS AND THEN YOU CAN START ORDERING FROM THE NEW HOLIDAY CATALOG.  YIPPEE!!

Here is a card I made using a new single stamp called HALLOWEEN HAPPINESS.  So Cute!!

 This is the cutest fall stamp set.  I stamped it on yellow card stock with pumpkin pie ink, then I used markers to color the stem, vine and leaves for some detail.

 I then stamped a second time with versamark and used tangerine tango embossing powder on the jack o lantern and cut him out.  I used stampin dimensionals to pop him up.  Sponged around the edge of the square piece and attached to a piece of the NEW Halloween DSP.

This is a fun fold card and I half opened it so you could see that it is a different shape and size.  Some more DSP inside and a piece of yellow sponged with pumpkin inside for you to write your note.  Black polka dot ribbon on the front with a candy dot of pumpkin to finish it off.
