CANDY BAR SNOWMAN GIFT

OMG, THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE CUTEST SNOWMAN/SNOWGIRL EVER!!  MY FRIEND AND FELLOW STAMPER, JACKIE, MADE THIS LITTLE CUTIE GIFT AND GAVE IT TO ME!!!  LOVE IT!!

HERE IS HOW SHE MADE IT:

1.  WHISPER WHITE CARD STOCK TO WRAP UP THE CANDY BAR.
2.  DRAW ON THE FACE WITH THE FINE TIP OF THE BLACK MARKER.  USE SOME LIGHT PINK CHALK FOR THE CHEEKS.
3.  USE A BROWN CHENILLE STEM (PIPE CLEANER) FOR THE HEADBAND OF THE EAR MUFFS. GLUE DOWN WITH TOMBOW.
4.  USE TWO SMALL POMPOMS FOR THE EAR PIECES AND ATTACH WITH EITHER TOMBOW GLUE OR GLUE DOTS.
5.  ADD RIBBON AND TIE IN A KNOT FOR THE SCARF.
6.  USE EITHER BUTTONS OR POMPOMS FOR HIS/HER BUTTONS DOWN HIS BODY.  USE GLUE DOTS OR TOMBOW GLUE TO GLUE IN PLACE.

GIVE TO A FRIEND!!  THANKS TO JACKIE FOR THIS ADORABLE IDEA.

HERE'S TO CREATIVITY AND INKY FINGERS Y'ALL.

Sunday, Sunday, so good to me....

Sometimes an old song pops into my head from a long time ago.  The Mommas and the Pappas sang this one way back when I was in jr high school I think.

Anyways, thought I would post a cute treat holder I made earlier this week when my mojo was going strong.

This is the Big Shot Mini Milk Carton Die.  LOVE this die.  I use it for all holidays and special events.  It looks different every time I use it!!  I really have gotten my money's worth on this little die.  This one I made as a 2-carton treat in a little holder for valentines day.  I used Pretty in Pink cs, GOT TREATS stamp set, scrap of dsp of unknown origin, some super nova fine glitter on the heart, glimmer brads, and rich razzleberry cs and ribbon.  Here is another photo of them:

Filled it with sweathearts candy hearts for my workshop hostess.

Happy Saturday to you and Happy Chocolate also!!

Yes, it is Monkey Saturday - which means CHOCOLATE FOR ALL. When my kids were very small, their dad used to tease them a lot. One tease that worked so many times was to tell my daughter, Lesleigh, that today was "Monkey Saturday". That is when everyone dresses up like monkeys and have a parade. She would get so excited and want to dress up like a monkey too!! Now married with kids of her own, she still talks about Monkey Saturday. It has evolved to mean anything we want it to mean. So MY Monkey Saturday means CHOCOLATE FOR ALL.

Above are some cute chocolate and candy wrapped for little "just because" gifts for neighbors, friends and family.

Enjoy! and Happy Monkey Saturday
