PERPETUAL BIRTHDAY CALENDAR PROJECT KIT

HEY BLOGGIES,

Yesterday I had a PERPETUAL CALENDAR KIT CLASS with my PEEPS.  We had a lot of fun, but we missed YOU!!  Hope you can make it next time.

The first photo below is a January made by Leslie.  She used a retired set of mine for the snowman. She did such a wonderful job on this cute cute cute calendar page, didn't she?

Emilee, almost 12, is our creative diva and she came up with her own ideas and colors on her pages.  Here is February in reds and pinks.

Here are a few pages I made to give them some ideas and get their creative juices flowing:

Hope you enjoyed these calendar pages.  Stay tuned for more pages on my next entry.

BEAUTIFUL WREATH FROM OUR NEW WREATH KIT

HEY BLOGGIES,

My friend and one of my downline members, Karen P. and I put together the Wreath Kit yesterday and I wanted to share it with you.

We had such a fun time to make our wreaths together at her home.

Here it is all finished and up on the door.  I have a porch overhang so it is protected from weather.  Since it is made from paper, burlap ribbon and cardboard, you don't want it to ever get wet.

This is a closeup so you can see the different types of flowers to create.  All the supplies except the hot glue is included in the kit.

These open POPPY-type flowers are the largest.  One large yellow one and 3 smaller ones in yellow, coral and light blue.

I love the ones made with the fringed paper.  And the top small blue water lily-type flower is so cute.  I snipped and cupped the inner layer so that it had more dimension and looks more like a water lily. The directions had it just be flat.

I would suggest getting one of these kits and making it with a friend or your family.  It is fun to make and a beautiful project when completed.

Any questions, let me know.

FESTIVE FLURRIES ORNAMENT FROM BIG CATALOG

HEY BLOGGIES,

Still in my Christmas project mode and today I made an ornament that first appeared in the Annual Catalog.  I LOVE the BUNDLE made up of Festive Flurries stamp set and framelits dies.

I used all four layers of the framelits, but only stamped 3 layers of the stamp set.  One layer was the silver glimmer paper cut with the framelit.

Island Indigo is the bottom large layer, then Coastal Cabana ink for next layer, followed by the silver glimmer paper and then pool party ink for the top layer.  I also added a punched out circle in the middle of the coastal cabana ink stamped snowflake that I punched out of the largest one so that I could smoosh it together on my blog of hot glue to give it the 3-D look.

I used pool party ribbon for the hanger and put a white die cut large snowflake over it to finish off the back.  This can be an ornament for your tree as well as a wonderful package decoration.

Today was announced a FESTIVE FLURRIES ORNAMENT KIT available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.  All snowflakes preprinted and easy to pop out of the paper to glue together.  No adhesive is included, but the ribbon and even rhinestones are included in this kit.

Last year they ran out of the ornament kits so if you are interested, hurry and purchase yours.
