HEY BLOGGIES,
I am sorry I have not posted every single day like I planned. All I can say is that LIFE got in the way. I have a 24 hr stomach bug, I had some church things I needed to complete. And to be truthful, a few days I just didn't want to color!! LOL There I said it and it is the truth. I didn't feel very crafty nor creative so I waited until I did feel like it.
Here is some coloring I did on a retired piece of designer paper called Park Lane by Stampin' Up! It is printed in a light green color and I used an aqua painter and markers to color. Also some Wink of Stella and some glitter pens.
I colored with markers and an aqua pen and then added some wink of stella and glitter pens, especially in the middle.
I used raspberry ripple for the color behind the art piece to bring out one of the darker pinks in the rose. In real life, it really makes the rose pop.
Another photo of my finished card. I only colored a few green leaves near the rose and left the rest.
Haven't decided what sentiment I want to add. I will do that when it is time to use the card.

MORE NO LINE COLORING
HEY BLOGGIES,
Thanks to all who have been supportive and commented to me regarding this 30 Days of Coloring that I have been participating in. You are very kind and make me want to keep trying to get better.
A few of you asked me to explain what makes no line coloring. How do you stamp if there are no lines? I am glad you asked that because at first I wondered about that myself.
There are several ways to stamp your image you are going to color. The way I did it on this card below was I stamped with a very light color that was going to be in my color palette.
I have seen on the blog that some people use a light box and trace the image with a very very light pencil.
Others have used an pale ink that has been stamped once or twice off FIRST before then stamping it onto the water color paper.
I am sure there are other ways, I am sure and I would love to hear from you out there in bloggieland if you have used other methods for this no line technique.
On to my card:
Here is my finished thank you card. I L.O.V.E. butterflies and have had butterfly gardens at my previous house just for the butterflies to be able to lay their eggs and the pupae to hatch. Just so you know WHY I am so happy with this card.
Here is a close up of the largest butterfly. The lines you see I added with a very very fine brush. And the sparkle is none other than Wink of Stella clear.
I made the smaller butterfly to be darker around the edges and the shadows also darker. The body is darker too. You can see some very light extra small butterflies uncolored on the card as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by. You still have time to participate in The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge.

WATER COLORING CHALLENGE DAY NINE
HEY BLOGGIES,
Today I have a card for you that I did watercoloring with distress inks for my background. I also used white embossing powder for a resist with this coloring. It was fun playing with the colors to come up with something I was happy with.
I used two star stamp sets by Stampin' Up! - BE THE STAR and SIMPLY STARS.
Some of the distress inks I used include cracked pistacio, peacock feathers, salty ocean, pine boughs, mermaid lagoon plus some concord grape ink from SU. There could have been some more, but these are the ones I remember these being used.
I added some sequins, a banner with the sentiment embossed with hero arts bright blue and a scallop square die from SSS.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I would love to hear your comments on my water coloring background and of my card design.

DAY FOUR OF THE MARKER 30 DAY COLORING CHALLENGE
HEY BLOGGIES,
I finished the embellishments on my card!! Yippee. I have so many half finished cards that I was determined to finish this one. And you know what?? I LOVE it!!
These pumpkins and crows are so cute. And look at those miniature fall leaves!! Love this stamp set from Lawn Fawn, HAPPY HARVEST.
I stamped with ultrafine black and then clear embossed so the lines would not bleed when I water colored them. I love the light turquoise background I water colored around each image.
Thanks for stopping back today to see my card all completed and embellished.

Well, what do you think? I added some flatback round beads, some sequins and some bugle beads. I decided that was all it needed. Just enough to be pretty but not overdone.

SMILE -- MORE WATERCOLOR POWDERS AND SPRITZING
HEY BLOGGIES,
I am back again as I promised with another card using watercolor powders and a water mister/spritzer. We determined we L.O.V.E the previous brand of powders better than these Brusho powders we used today. Yesterday we used COLOR BURST by Ken Oliver Crafts. and they were so much more vibrant.
As the previous posting, first Tammy ironed on the waxed paper die cut balloons onto the white watercolor paper. Then she spritzed the whole card with water and shook on the color powders. The action of the powder granules hitting the water is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
I added a small layer of coastal cabana card stock that shows slightly and then attached it to a whisper white card base. I die cut the HAPPY BIRTHDAY out of whisper white and attached to the card. I die cut some of the insides of the balloons and adhered before adding two layers of crystal effects over it to give some dimension.
I added a few moonstone drops and VOILA - an amazingly beautiful card.
Thanks for stopping by. IF you have any questions, let me know. Come visit again, won't you?

p.s. The birthday card was given to a good friend who had her 80th birthday this past week (I told her it wasn't 80, but FOUR SCORE YEARS) hee hee. She LOVED the card.

NO LINE STAMPING AND WATER COLORING
HEY BLOGGIES,
I LOVE BLOGGIE LAND!! All the amazing talented crafters who are willing to share their knowledge and talents with everyone is awesome. That is how I found this technique called NO LINE STAMPING.
Basically you stamp your image with a very very light color ink and then you use either water colors, or aqua pen and ink to color in your image.
I used stamped off Hello Honey ink for my faint images. Then I tried both water coloring AND aqua painter and ink,..the smaller of the butterflies is my water colored image and the larger one is reinkers. Which do you like better?
I did the small butterfly with water colors first. AND because no lines is a new technique for me, I ended up shading all around the outer edge which kind of defeated the purpose of the technique.
The larger butterfly was the second one I did and I used an aqua painter and ink for this one. I felt a bit more confident after practicing on the first butterfly and think I did a better job as well.
Here is a close up on the large ink colored butterfly. I used hello honey, coastal cabana and a little touch of soft suede,. Then because all butterflies should be absolutely awesome, I used Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the insides of the wings,
The other two accessories I used are mini square sequins and a die cut "thanks". I layered the water color paper on a very thin piece if black cardstock and then onto coastal cabana.
I like that I stamped two very small butterflies with the stamped-off hello honey on the card as well. Makes it look a bit like an architectural drawing I think.
Thanks for stopping by. I have entered this card into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - anything goes. Stop by and see what else was entered for their challenge.
