LATE SUMMER FADING GREEN LEAVES CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

Thanks for stopping by my little part of the world to see what I have created today.  Sorry I was so late in getting my card up for today, but I was running errands most of the day.  I could not wait to come home to create my entry for the MOJO MONDAY challenge and get it up.

Here is what I came up with from their design challenge:

My card base is pistachio pudding card stock, with a layer of pear pizzazz and a small layer of basic black.  I used a non SU embossing folder of leaves because SU does not carry anything like this.

My embossed layer got some sponging over just a few of the embossed leaves.  I have a 1/8" basic black ribbon with a faux bow of black and white plaid attached.  I used A ROUND ARRAY stamp set for my round THANK YOU and punched with two different sizes of scallop punches.

I used my BIG SHOT and the AUTUMN ACCENTS BIGZ DIE to die cut the leaves and then ran them through the WOODGRAIN EMBOSSING FOLDER for texture.  Sponged a little bit of black around the edges and VOILA - all done.

I am pleased with how it came out.  Do you like?  I am ready for it to get a bit cooler, but I will certainly miss my beautiful GREENS of summer.  I also wanted to use the Autumn Accents die with something other than fall color leaves and I think this came out well.

Thanks for stopping by.  Come on back now, ya' hear?

CASING A CARD FROM STAMPIN' UP!

One of the many, many benefits of being a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! is that we get lots of ideas of what to do with our products.  This card is similar to one that SU showed us this past month on line for our demonstrator's magazine.  I changed a few things to make it my own.

I only used my window light for this card to make it look more "natural".  Not sure if that worked or not, but I thought I would try it.  Crisp Cantaloupe and Bermuda Bay card stock along with our Whisper White have been used here.

Mixed Bunch stamp set stamped twice and punched out - once with Bermuda Bay ink and once with Coastal Cabana ink.  I distressed the edges of the flowers, then added a punch of Summer Starfruit and a middle part with Bermuda Bay ink.

A closer look at the layered flower and the Cantaloupe Crisp banners.

The baker's twine looks like Crisp Cantaloupe, but is really Tangerine Tango.  The sentiment is from A Round Array Stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by.  IF you are interested in getting at least 20% discount on all purchases, getting a special magazine every other month, being able to see and order new products more than a month before customers, as well as being a part of my fun team, please contact me as soon as you can.  The special $30 extra product with your kit expires in just a FEW DAYS.

BEST OF BUTTERFLIES

I am LOVING this moth type butterfly.  I originally came in the breast cancer donation stamp set.  It is one of the butterflies in the BEST OF BUTTERFLIES 25th anniversary stamp set.

I chose my colors by FIRST choosing my designer paper.  Then I chose the colors that match it. Here I used melon mambo and gumball green.

After I adhered the designer paper to the card base, I used the new ARTISAN LABEL PUNCH and punched thru both layers on the front of the card.  I then punched a piece of melon mambo and glued it through the window I created with the punch.

I used the A ROUND ARRAY stamp set for the K IS FOR KINDNESS sentiment inside the punched out window and popped it up with a Stampin' Dimensional. (It was punched out with the 7/8" scallop circle punch)  I made little shutters for the window with some more melon mambo.

Melon mambo ink on whisper white card stock and fussy cut out the butterfly image.  I used Stampin' Dimensionals and then drew on the two antennae with a soft suede marker.

I saw this idea on Jason Kreiger's blog.  Thanks JK.  He goes by JK and I am also  JK (Jennifer Kay) so I always check out his fun ideas on his blog.  GREAT CARD!!

SMALL SIZED THANK YOU CARDS

Howdy Bloggies,

I am still stamping with A ROUND ARRAY stamp set and this time I also used OH HELLO stamp set.
I saw an idea very close to this on Yvettes Paper Garden blog.  Thanks for the idea Yvette!!

I used basic gray card stock 6 x 3, scored at 3 and the polka dots embossing folder.

I used the newARTISAN LABEL PUNCH after I stamped the chevron stamp from OH HELLO with gray ink on whisper white card stock.  I also punched out some white to layer behind the label.  Then I used real red with the 1 1/4" scallop circle punch to layer behind the THANK YOU from A ROUND ARRAY stamp set to give it a pop of color.

The two cards on the outside are folded so they open from the bottom.  The one in the middle opens on the right.  They are all the same size, just facing different ways.

I hope you try some of these smaller 3" square enclosure cards as thank you cards.  They are quick and easy to make and FUN!!
STAMPS:  A ROUND ARRAY, OH HELLO
INK:  basic gray
CARD STOCK: whisper white, basic gray, real red
OTHER:  polka dots embossing folder

A BRIGHT AND CHEERY THANK YOU CARD

I don't use bright colors very often, but I am loving this combination of GUMBALL GREEN, CRUSHED CURRY AND MELON MAMBO.

There is a little more than 1 week left to take advantage of the A ROUND ARRAY bundle - the petite scallop circle punch and the clear stamp set.  Here is another card to tempt you to order this bundle while you can save 15%.  The stamp set and the punch will be in our new catalog for another year but the bundle will be gone.

The base of my card is CRUSHED CURRY.  I stamped one of the stamps from A ROUND ARRAY along the side panel of WHISPER WHITE in two different colors of ink, layered in MELON MAMBO.  I also stamped the eraser end of a pencil to add a little more color with my crushed curry ink.

I used the stitched GUMBALL GREEN RIBBON.  The sentiment is from PERFECTLY PENNED stamp set.

The last thing to point out are the three small flowers punched, and the centers have the dazzling details liquid glitter in the middle (rats, I cannot remember the correct name of this stuff - and I love it!!)  I also LOVE the PERFECTLY PENNED stamp set.  Isn't it so pretty on this card.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  If you are now convinced you "NEED" this bundle, click my signature below and go to my store to purchase it.

A ROUND ARRAY MONOCHROMATIC CARD (plus a SNEAK PEAK)

WHEW, that is a mouthful isn't it?  I am still playing with the A ROUND ARRAY stamp set today.  And I just seem to be in a monochromatic mood with LUCKY LIMEADE and CERTAINLY CELERY.

The certainly celery card base was run through the BIG SHOT with the stripes embossing folder.
Then I ran lucky limeade through the BIG SHOT with the chevrons embossing folder and cut out two of them together.

SNEAK PEAK - This beautiful flower is made with two new products in the upcoming catalog:  molding clay and special molds!!  After it was all dry (and it is incredibly LIGHT WEIGHT) I used my markers to color it.  You can also drop some ink into the clay first and then mold it.  TWO WAYS TO USE ONE PRODUCT - I LOVE THAT.

The 1/8" stitched ribbon is underneath the 3 stamped and punched images from A ROUND ARRAY stamp set.  I also put another image in the bottom right hand corner with a larger scallop circle punched out as a layer behind it. YOU MAKE ME SMILE.

Very CLEAN AND SIMPLE but beautiful card don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I love to hear your comments so if you have just a wee moment won't you leave some "blog love".

A ROUND ARRAY CARD

Hi Bloggies:

I had some fun this rainy morning with my "A ROUND ARRAY" Stamp Set and the NATURAL COMPOSITION SPECIALTY PAPER.

Somehow I was in the browns family mood today.  The Naturals Composition Paper has a wonderful wood grain that is perfect by itself, but I decided to sponge chocolate chip ink on the bottom portion. And I added FLOWER BUTTONS - light on the dark portion, and dark on the light portion.  CLEAN AND SIMPLE

I stamped the THANK U stamp from A ROUND ARRAY stamp set onto crumb cake with chocolate chip ink and punched it out with the petite scallop circle punch.  I then layered it with the small scallop circle punch of chocolate chip card stock.

I used some white and some brown buttons on my card, as well as satin ribbon and tied the scallop punched sentiment with some baker's twine.

Simple but quite nice if I do say so myself!!  Hope you enjoyed this card.

Until next time, if I can help you with any of your stamping needs, please click below to go to my stamp store.
