CUTE STICKY NOTE HOLDER AND PEN GIFT

HEY BLOGGIES,

I have been making these cute sticky note holders both with and without attached mini pens.  They are so fun to make and give as little gifts to friends.

Here is one I made for a friend's birthday.  It is following the SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY CHALLENGE.  Here is the sketch:

Here is a closeup of the project.  I used Gorgeous Grunge for the background and Flamingo Lingo for the flowers and sentiment.  I

Here is an embossing folder decoration with an oval punch and stamped flower.  A stamped and punched butterfly adorns  the flower.

Here they are together.

MOJO MONDAY CHALLENGE - 3-D STICKY NOTE HOLDER

HEY BLOGGIES,

Today is a total washout - We have had constant rain since SATURDAY AFTERNOON!!  And here it is MONDAY AFTERNOON and still raining - HEAVILY!!  YIKES...our backyard is a pond and now the front yard is filling up too.  Luckily our house sets up on a bit of an incline so I don't expect any water to enter the home.  But it has entered our horse shed, which I am very sad about.  We thought we had built it up high enough to keep that from happening.  Luckily, the horses are at Training School this month and are in a warm dry stall there.

So, I have been organizing my crafts, cleaning, and CREATING.  Here is one of the items I created that goes along with the MOJO MONDAY CHALLENGE #388:

Here is the sketch above.  And below is my item I crafted:

It is a sticky note holder and a mini gel pen.  I am over the teachers who teach the kids at our church who are under 12.  One young male teacher is having a birthday next week and this is the small token of thanks we are giving to him for his birthday.

Here you can see it opened and the post it notes with our message on it.

One more look at this cute little gift.  I used basic gray and a piece of DSP from Moonlight DSP.  I used FOUR FEATHERS stamp set and FEATHERS die, as well as a 3/4 circle punch from the postage stamp from the Basic Butterflies stamp set.  Black and pewter embossing powder was used.

Thanks for stopping by to see my creation.  Won't you please leave a comment?  I really enjoy hearing from those who visit and would love to hear from you!!

FLOWERFULL HEART TREAT BAG

HEY BLOGGIES,

I am in FULL VALENTINE MODE this week.  I LOVE Valentines Day and love the pinks, reds, purples, golds and silvers of the holiday.

I created some TREAT BAGS for my ROOMIES pillow at Leadership and I wanted to share them with you since I am leaving today to attend Leadership for Stampin' Up!

As I mentioned in a previous post, this is my VERY FIRST STAMPIN' UP! MEETING EVER.  I don't attend conference because I can't do crowds that large.  And I have finally achieved the invitation to Leadership so I am attending this year.  PLUS it is in my HOME STATE OF TEXAS!!  I only live 50 miles north of the Convention Center so my hubby will be driving me down there this evening.  I was going to take my car with me so we had transportation while there, but the PARKING FEES at the hotel were almost as much as the room!!  (well, not quite but they are ridiculously expensive).  So I decided the car can stay at home without me.

Aren't these cute?  I am LOVING the FLOWERFULL HEART single stamp.  I used raspberry ripple ink for the stamp, then I backed it up with some designer paper in primrose petals.  I used the Heart Framelits to cut out both hearts, which layer perfectly.

Can you see my cute little Candy Dot I dded to the bottom of the stamped image?  I just wanted a little something extra on this treat bag.  I used 1 1/2" ribbon to create a bow, after I stapled the chevron treat bag first.

Here is a nice closeup of the stamped image, the candy dot and the ribbon bow.  If you need any of these supplies, please consider using my store to order.

Oh I forgot to tell you what I enclosed in the sack - a packet of Skinny Cow candies.  YUMMY

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Come back for more inspiration, won't you?

ELEGANT CHRISTMAS STAR GIFT BAG AND TAG

HEY BLOGGIES,

I had my card class last evening making the Santa's List cards and gift tags.  It was great fun.   If you look at past posts below, you will see what we made.

For today I have a beautiful Christmas Star single stamp GIFT BAG.  It is floating around the internet and I couldn't wait to make it.

Versamark and gold embossing powder heat set make up the stars on this beautiful gift bag with tag. Also the Gorgeous Grunge stamp with gold encore ink all over.

The PEACE ON EARTH banner is stamped with gold encore ink and glued behind the 3-D star gift tag.

I love the 3-D star hanging from the cherry cobbler tulle bow (clearance rack).

I hope you got your Christmas Star when it was on sale a few weeks ago.  IF not, you can still get it and it is very reasonably priced as a single stamp.

A closer look at the tulle bow and the 3-D star and banner.  I LOVE this gift ensemble and think it would be perfect for TEACHER GIFTS, NEIGHBOR GIFTS, ETC.

THANK YOU CANDY BAR COVER

Sometimes we just need a quick little treat to show our appreciation to someone...teachers, friends, babysitters, neighbors, etc.  I created this simple and quick thank you after I saw an idea on the web from another demonstrator.  I am sorry I don't know the name of the demo and the photo did not have a water mark on it.

I used rich razzleberry as the color with my whisper white.  I used both chalk talk and flower shop stamp sets, punches and dies.  I also used fire and ice brads for the center of the flower.

This designer paper is covering a Hershey's milk chocolate candy bar.  Just the perfect little treat to show someone you care!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Stop by again for some more photos of my creations.

ESPECIALLY plan to stop by on Sept 3, 4 and 5 because I will be in a Halloween blog hop with several of my friends and we have some fun things planned for you.
