EASY PEASY LAST MINUTE MONEY HOLDER CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

I needed a money holder card for my grandkids gifts today and I created them in the 'WINK OF AN EYE" just like Santa!!

I cut a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock in half.  Then I folded each piece long ways to make a long, skinny card - perfect size to hold MONEY!!
I used my mitten punch to make the cute tied mitten on the front - that is all it needed on top of the Christmas DSP.

The background of this DSP is very vanilla.  Sorry it shows so yellow in this photo.

All it needed was a sentiment inside and VOILA - all ready to put under the tree for when the grandkids arrive. (p.s. the older grandkids love getting money so they can shop for exactly what they want!!)

I have entered this card at SUO Challenge and CAS SUNDAY CHALLENGE.

Thanks for stopping by.  MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family.  BE SAFE AND BE HAPPY.

BANNER FRAMELITS CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

I have an easy and cute card for you today.  I started with the SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY SKETCH HERE:

Here is my take on this sketch.  I did move the sentiment to the top right instead of the bottom right, but I believe that is ok since the basic sketch is still there.

This is a clean and simple card that packs a lot of pretty!!

I even used a punch a different way to make the end of my flag with the sentiment on it.

Did you notice the pretty pearls in the centers of the flowers?  A little unusual pop of bling!!

Thanks for stopping by.

VALENTINE'S CARD - FLOWERFULL HEART

HEY BLOGGIES,

January is just flying by for me.  I am so glad I thought ahead and had my card club this week for Valentine's Day.  Eight lovely ladies came and really had fun making the projects.

I will show you one project we made as a daily post, ok?

I used this Photopolymer stamp set alone with the Flowerfull Heart for this project.

The SWEET was stamped on the inside along with a heart  Both stamped in Raspberry Ripple.

Hugs and kisses were stamped with versa mark all over the top half of the card.  The cardstock is Primrose Pink.

A lovely tea doily was used underneath the water color looking hearts.  We created these hearts by using drops of reinkers on a piece of felt, and using that as the stamp pad.  The reinkers are from the Subtles set to keep with the water color look.  I think it would have looked even better by sponging Raspberry Ripple around the edges of the heart.  We used the Heart Framelits to die cut the hearts.

Small heart punches of Raspberry Ripple card stock were attached on the left bottom, slightly overlapping the seam binding and grosgrain ribbon, which is tied in a knot.  Lastly two way glue was dotted here and there on the flowers of the heart stamp and Dazzling Diamonds were added.  DD was also added to the small stamped heart in the right bottom corner.

    FLOWERFULL HEART TREAT BAG

    HEY BLOGGIES,

I am in FULL VALENTINE MODE this week.  I LOVE Valentines Day and love the pinks, reds, purples, golds and silvers of the holiday.

I created some TREAT BAGS for my ROOMIES pillow at Leadership and I wanted to share them with you since I am leaving today to attend Leadership for Stampin' Up!

As I mentioned in a previous post, this is my VERY FIRST STAMPIN' UP! MEETING EVER.  I don't attend conference because I can't do crowds that large.  And I have finally achieved the invitation to Leadership so I am attending this year.  PLUS it is in my HOME STATE OF TEXAS!!  I only live 50 miles north of the Convention Center so my hubby will be driving me down there this evening.  I was going to take my car with me so we had transportation while there, but the PARKING FEES at the hotel were almost as much as the room!!  (well, not quite but they are ridiculously expensive).  So I decided the car can stay at home without me.

Aren't these cute?  I am LOVING the FLOWERFULL HEART single stamp.  I used raspberry ripple ink for the stamp, then I backed it up with some designer paper in primrose petals.  I used the Heart Framelits to cut out both hearts, which layer perfectly.

Can you see my cute little Candy Dot I dded to the bottom of the stamped image?  I just wanted a little something extra on this treat bag.  I used 1 1/2" ribbon to create a bow, after I stapled the chevron treat bag first.

Here is a nice closeup of the stamped image, the candy dot and the ribbon bow.  If you need any of these supplies, please consider using my store to order.

Oh I forgot to tell you what I enclosed in the sack - a packet of Skinny Cow candies.  YUMMY

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Come back for more inspiration, won't you?

    MAPLE LEAVES AND PUMPKINS

    HEY BLOGGIES,

We had such a wonderful card club this week.  The Magnificent Maple single leaf stamp was the spotlight of our club.  Who doesn't LOVE fall leaves!!  AND on one card we also used the BEST OF AUTUMN stamp set.  AN AWESOME SET.

I had such a wonderful time that I have still been stamping cards long after the class is all over.  I am on a roll for sure!!

Here is a card I would like to share with you:

Very vanilla and black always go well together.  Some leaves stamped off first for the background.

Colored only the pumpkins and leaves to spotlight them.

Another look at the finished card.  Thanks for visiting.

DON'T FORGET IF YOU PURCHASE $40 OF SUPPLIES FROM ME I HAVE A SPECIAL FREE STAMP SET FOR YOU FROM MY STASH.  As soon as I get notified of your purchase I will contact you to find out which set you want me to mail to you!!  See POST HERE.

CLEAN AND SIMPLE FALL LEAVES BIRTHDAY CARD

    HEY BLOGGIES,

I have a clean and simple birthday card for you today.  It is done in fall tans and browns with some maple leaves.

En Francais background stamp stamped over a stencil of the apothecary label framelits.  Sponged around the edges with crumb cake, burnt brown sugar.

I stamped the Magnificent Maple single stamp in early espresso over the print.  I then stamped the Banner Label stamp set, Happy Birthday, in early espresso and popped it up with dimensionals.

I love the softness and the colors of this card.  Hope you enjoyed it too.  The crisp edges of the stencil and the details of the leaves work so well together.

    Thanks for stopping by.

FALL FLOWERS AND SHADES OF BLUE

    HEY BLOGGIES,

Welcome back to my little part of the world.  Today I have two cards for you.  They are going to be part of a set of cards I am giving as a gift to a friend.

First up is the friend or generic type card:

Crumb cake and blue - I love that combination.  I find it is my "go to" when I need a quick card and don't have time to mull over what colors I will use.  I think this is fall flowers because the flower is made with the packing material they sometimes use in boxes I receive from UPS, etc. I HOARD this stuff from my boxes I receive and now I am finally trying to use it!!

Sponging the layers and a little bit of the flower adds dimension and more color.  I used a retired corduroy button in the middle of my punched flower.

I created a fun element underneath the 1/8" taffeta ribbon - I used the scallop edge punch and punched it on both sides.  It created a rick-rack effect and I am really liking it!!

NEXT CARD BELOW IS ENTERED INTO:

    CRAFT DASH 10 MINUTE CARD
    SUO CHALLENGE - TECHNIQUE
    PAPERCRAFT STAR

My NEXT card uses the same colors and similar design since they are part of a gift set.  This card is a thank you card and would be perfect for the new teacher.  The technique I am focusing on is using punches and dies.  I used 2 punches and a die.

I did a similar design with this card, but I put the flower at the bottom left, made it a bigger flower and put just a single punched scallop edge under the dsp.

This flower is cut from the same package stuffing but with a big shot die.  It took me 9 minutes 27 seconds to make this card.  I made it under 10 minutes!!

Here are the two cards together.  I am making two more and then a fun package to gift them in for my friend.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Please stop back in again to see some more fun creations.

Wednesday: GLITTER QUEEN'S BLOG HOP - DAY THREE

    ARE WE HAVING FUN YET?

Thanks for all the wonderful comments you have left me.  I sincerely appreciate them and am glad you like my projects.

I am featuring the Pennant Parade Stamp Set as well as the Pennants Builder Punch from Stampin' Up! all week.  Today I have a Halloween card and a 3-D fun item.

I used the Mini Milk Carton Die and my wonderful BIG SHOT from Stampin' Up! (both are in the big IBC)  LOVE MY BIG SHOT.  You absolutely MUST get one - you can do so much with it - like cut 80 different materials with it.  So the cute little SPOOKY carton comes cut and scored when it is run it through the Big Shot.

I used Halloween Fright DSP as a border on both the mini carton and my card.  Also used  the PENNANT BUILDER PUNCH and stamped from the Wicked Cool Stamp Set the words HAVE A WICKED HALLOWEEN.  Cute, huh?  I added some strips of the DSP to look like ties on the pennant, as well the flags I put into the mouth of the carton "full of candy". Pixie Sticks hold the the Pennants punched out, as well as crimped card stock foofoo (kind of like Cheer Leader Pompoms) at the top for decoration and it will be a winning treat for someone sweet.

For the card I stamped the spider web and the word SPOOKY from the same Wicked Cool stamp set, layered it with basic black card stock and lucky limeade card stock for the card base.  I then used CRYSTAL EFFECTS on the word and it makes it look like it has a plastic bubble on it or a puffy shiney effect.  When the Crystal Effects (IBC) dries it is shiney and dimensional.  I punched out the spider from the paper and used some old olive retired ribbon on the side.

Here is a closeup of the mini milk carton with the yummy candy in it.  Isn't it spooky and fun all at the same time?  I used a mini clip to keep the top closed and put a 1/2" circle punched spider on that as well.  FUN FUN FUN

Here you can see my SPOOKY card up close.  I also put a drop of the Crystal Effects on the body of the punched out spider to give it dimension.  CREEPY and FUN.  ha ha
