CUTE STICKY NOTE HOLDER AND PEN GIFT

HEY BLOGGIES,

I have been making these cute sticky note holders both with and without attached mini pens.  They are so fun to make and give as little gifts to friends.

Here is one I made for a friend's birthday.  It is following the SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY CHALLENGE.  Here is the sketch:

Here is a closeup of the project.  I used Gorgeous Grunge for the background and Flamingo Lingo for the flowers and sentiment.  I

Here is an embossing folder decoration with an oval punch and stamped flower.  A stamped and punched butterfly adorns  the flower.

Here they are together.

Thanks for stopping by.

AN AUTUMN DOOR KNOB HANGER

HEY BLOGGIES,

At our card club last weekend we made a different kind of project.  I had some DOOR KNOB HANGER blanks from a while back and decided we would use these for a project.  They are made from glossy white paper so we had to be careful to let the ink dry in between step so it would not smear.  You will see a BIG SMEAR of blackberry bliss on the right side of my hanger to attest to the fact that you MUST let the ink dry!!  .

We used FOR ALL THINGS and GORGEOUS GRUNGE stamp sets as well as FALL FEST stamp set for the leaves with the matching die.

If you look closely, there is washi tape along the bottom.  The green stripe washi is from the new Holiday Catalog and is actually a Christmas washi tape but I thought it worked perfectly with this project.  Also the black is from the Holiday catalog and is the Halloween washi.  Sorry I can't remember the names of them at the moment.

We used fall colors of our choice and used the background shading stamp from For All Things to put random colors all over it.  Same with the splatter from Gorgeous grunge.  The bow is from the Natural Trim, and the little two step stamped acorn is from a retired set from last year.

Thanks for stopping by.  You could easily make your own Door Knob Hanger blank with your paper cutter and the large circle punch.  I am sure the kids and grandkids will enjoy finding this on their bedroom door knob one day!!

YOU BRIGHTEN MY DAY

hey bloggies,

YOU BRIGHTEN MY DAY is the perfect card for my hubby for our anniversary this week.  I used the splatter stamp from GORGEOUS GRUNGE by SU!  for the background and then the sunshine  rays behind the light bulb in crushed curry.  The light bulb was fussy cut and put on dimensionals, with the heart in the middle in melon mambo ink.

Made this larger so you could see the details of my card.

This is another card that was quick and easy card with the background and sentiment stamp from this set.  I stamped the background rays 4 times to make a circle and put the sentiment in the middle on some DSP and layered grey behind it.  I added some square sequins randomly around the card to finish off a clean and simpole card,.

NEW CARD CLUB NIGHT -- FATHER'S DAY CARDS

HEY BLOGGIES,

I had my first new card club night this week and we made two father's day cards and a thank you card.  It was so fun to get to know these new ladies.  We enjoyed good company and yummy snacks along with creativity and laughter.

I didn't get photos of everyone with their cards, but I did manage to get two sweet gals to share some of our creativity.

Here is Gayla with two of her cards.  She organized the card group night for us
The card on our left is from an idea that Mary Fish showed on her blog - thanks for sharing, Mary!!  The card on  the right is one I did with my downline last week.  It is a very simple but elegant card.

This gal brought the beverages.  Some Italian sodas and Perrier.  Several ladies brought snacks and goodies.,  Everyone had a yummy (I mean fun) time!!  grin

SYMPATHY CARD WITH MODERN MEDLEY

HEY BLOGGIES:

Hope all is well where you are. Here in Central Texas we are enjoying a week of cooler and dryer fall weather.  The mornings are in the 50s and the daytime high is only in the 80s.  It is our version of fall!!

We had our Stampin' Club a few days ago and I wanted to show you two of the cards we made.

This first card was made with Modern Medley Designer paper and my BIG SHOT with the Window Frames Collection Framelits dies.  I used the beautiful set called SIMPLY SKETCHED for the flower and the sentiment.

I finished off the card with a bow of white satin ribbon.  I used fellow demo Tanya's directions on how to make a FINGER BOW and it works so nicely.  Best bow I have EVER made!!

This next card is using the card sets MILLION AND ONE and also GORGEOUS GRUNGE.  I love turquoise with black and white.  It is striking together.  This is a very simple card with a lot of WOW. Slate gray, black and turquoise inks were also used.

OFF THE GRID AND OH HELLO THANK YOU CARD

AS DEMONSTRATORS, we get a magazine every other month full of ideas and creativity.  On page 7 of this month's magazine was a card that I knew the moment I saw it I had to do one similar.

The card stock is crumb cake and the inks are crumb cake, old olive and night of navy.  I used OFF THE GRID stamp in the background with the GORGEOUS GRUNGE splatter here and there.

I chose to use the chevron and outline from OH HELLO stamp set in old olive along the bottom.  I did NOT use the Stamp-a-ma-jig because I wanted it to have the grunge look and therefor not be perfectly lined up.

From a scrap of designer paper I punched out the elegant butterfly and the small blossom.  I used my baked brown sugar marker to make the dots on them.

The Thanks stamp is from the OH HELLO set and in night of navy, stamped off once first.

That's it.  A fun collage card with grunge AND oh so easy!!

Hope you enjoyed this card.  If you would like to get these magazines at YOUR ADDRESS, contact me about becoming a demonstrator and I will fill you in on how easy peasy it is to sign up and get $125 worth of any product for your kit for the low price of ONLY $99!!  There is no further obligation, but if you decide to purchase more products at other times, you instantly get a minimum of 20% off all that you purchase or that your customers purchase.

I would LOVE to have you on my team!!
