THE CUTEST GIFT BAG EVER

THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE CUTEST GIFT BAG E.V.E.R.    I mean, could it be any cuter?  I saw this on fellow demonstrator Kathy Parlitsis' blog (thanks Kathy!!) and knew I had to make one.

This is made with a lunch bag!!  The baja bree cs is stamped with a large background stamp (mine was retired canvas, but there is also linen, etc. stamps) and then sponged all over.

White gel pen stitches and the sponging all over makes it look like a fabric or denim fabric bag, doesn't it?  LOVE IT!!

Here is a side view so you can see the lunch bag.  Did you notice the cute flower on the front?  Can you tell what I made it from?

Yes, the flower is made from mini cupcake papers smooched and glued together and then spritzed with some baja breeze ink.  CUTENESS  I had been HOARDING THESE for months before I have now finally used them here!!

Crumb cake card stock sponged and white gel pen stitches added is what the handles attach to.  Got the cute Texas star brads from the clearance rack. (not really specifically Texas, but I like to think so!) grin.

There you have it.  A fun and embellished gift bag for your special friend, customer or family member.

Won't you leave me a comment and tell me what you think of it?

Stay creative, my friends.

SPICE CAKE - YUMMY

WHERE DID LAST WEEK GO?  I AM SO VERY SORRY I LEFT YOU HANGING WITH MY 3D FLOWER AND DID NOT SHOW YOU THE CARD I PUT IT ON.  I DON'T KNOW IF YOU REMEMBER OR NOT, BUT I AM A PART TIME HALLMARK CARDS RETAIL MERCHANDISER FOR AREA GROCERY STORES.  THIS MEANS AROUND ANY HOLIDAY, I AM EXTREMELY BUSY BOTH BEFORE THE HOLIDAY, THEN ALSO AFTERWARDS GETTING DOWN THE HOLIDAY AND PUTTING UP SOMETHING NEW.

WELL LAST WEEK JUST WORE ME COMPLETELY OUT.  I AM TRYING TO RECOOP THIS WEEK AND SLOWLY IT IS COMING BACK TO NORMAL AGAIN.

HERE IS THE 3D FLOWER I SHOWED YOU LAST WEEKEND.  I MADE IT FROM THE PACKING PAPER THAT COMES IN THE BOX OF GOODIES FROM STAMPING UP. IT IS USED INSTEAD OF STYROFOAM PEANUTS.  I CUT OUT SEVERAL LAYERS FROM THE FANCY FLOWERS DIE AND MY BIG SHOT.  THEN I SCRUNCHED, SPONGED, MANIPULATED AND VOILA...A FLOWER:

I LOVE THE SHABBY LOOK IT HAS.  THE MIDDLE IS A CLEARANCE RACK CORDUROY CRUMB CAKE BUTTON BRAD, AND I SPONGED THAT ALSO.  HECK, I SPONGED ANYTHING THAT WAS HOLDING STILL IN FRONT OF ME!!

HERE IS THE CARD.  WHAT DO YOU THINK?  I LOVE THE COLOR COMBOS IN THE SPICE CAKE DSP SO THIS WORKED PERFECTLY FOR ME.  I STARTED WITH A CARD BASE OF CRUMB CAKE AND A LAYER OF BAJA BREEZE.

I PUNCHED A SCALLOP BORDER ON SOME EARLY ESPRESSO CARD STOCK AND PUT IT BEHIND A PIECE OF THE SPICE CAKE DSP.  YUMMY.  OH YEAH, I SPONGED WITH EARLY ESPRESSO BOTH THE CARD BASE AND THE BLUE LAYER.

I STAMPED A SIMPLE THANK YOU IN ESPRESSO ON CRUMB CAKE AND PUNCHED IT OUT WITH THE DECORATIVE LABEL PUNCH.  I LAYERED ESPRESSO PUNCHED OUT BEHIND AND TO THE LEFT OF IT AS WELL, TO LOOK LIKE A SHADOW.

I LOVE HOW THE EARLY ESPRESSO "SHADOW" PUNCH BEHIND THE SENTIMENT LOOKS, DON'T YOU?  IT TIES IN BEAUTIFULLY WITH THE SCALLOP BORDER PUNCH ON THE LEFT OF THE CARD AS WELL.

THIS IS WITHOUT MY FLASH TO HELP SEE ALL THE SPONGING, ETC. ON THE FLOWER.

I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF THIS CARD I DESIGNED.  WON'T YOU TAKE JUST A QUICK MOMENT AND LEAVE ME A COMMENT PLEASE?

HERE IS THE COMPLETED CARD AGAIN.  THANKS SO MUCH FOR STOPPING BY.  IF YOU DON'T HAVE A DEMONSTRATOR, I WOULD LOVE TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR CARD CRAFTING AND SUPPLY NEEDS

GLITTER QUEEN BLOG HOP -- DAY THREE

HI STAMPERS:  I AM LOVING ALL THE FUN PROJECTS AND IDEAS FROM MY FELLOW DEMONSTRATORS, AREN'T YOU??

THIS IS THE THIRD AND FINAL DAY OF OUR BLOG HOP AND I HATE TO SEE IT END.  BUT SINCE YOU ARE ALL FOLLOWERS OF MY BLOG, I HOPE YOU WILL CONTINUE TO COME BACK TO VISIT WEEKLY TO SEE WHAT NEW CARD OR PROJECT I HAVE MADE.

HERE IS MY FUN SUMMER BIRTHDAY CARD.  IT USES THE FOLLOWING ITEMS, ALL TO BE FOUND IN THE NEW CATALOG:

DESIGNER PAPER:  PATIO PARTY DSP
PUNCHES:  SCALLOP EDGE PUNCH, BUILD A CUPCAKE PUNCH
CARD STOCK:  PINK PIROUETTE, BAJA BREEZE, PRIMROSE PETALS, RASPBERRY RIPPLE,
VERY VANILLA
INK:  PRIMROSE PETALS
STAMP SET:  NEW HOSTESS SET "A CHERRY ON TOP"

HERE IS A CLOSEUP OF THE CUTE PATIO PARTY DSP AND THE CUTE CUPCAKE.  THE PAPER WRAPPER OF THE CUPCAKE IS THE BACK OF THE DSP YOU SEE ON THE LEFT.  FRONT OR BACK - THEY ARE ALL PERFECT FOR OUR PROJECTS.

STAMPIN' UP! PUNCHES ARE SO EASY TO USE AND WONDERFUL FOR THAT LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA WE NEED ON OUR PROJECTS.

FOR THE INSIDE OF THE CARD, I PUNCHED THE CUPCAKE WITH BAJA BREEZE CARD STOCK FOR THE BOTTOM AND PRIMROSE PETALS FOR THE ICING - WITH A BAJA BREEZE CHERRY.

MY NEXT CARD IS MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT FREE-CUTTING THE SHAPE OF MY CARD.  THERE IS NO DIE OR PUNCH THAT I KNOW OF TO MAKE THIS CUTE CARD.  IF THERE IS, PLEASE TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS BELOW, WON'T YOU?

WHAT IS SUMMER TIME WITHOUT FLIP FLOPS?  I CUT MY CAMEO CORAL CARD STOCK IN THE SHAPE OF A FLIP FLOP.

I ADDED SO SAFFRON GROSGRAIN RIBBON FOR THE TOE PART OF THE SHOE.  I USED A 3/4" CIRCLE PUNCH TO PUNCH OUT THE CUTE BLOSSOM FROM MY DSP.

INSIDE, I PUT THE DSP ON THE TOP OF THE CARD TO COVER WHERE I ATTACHED THE RIBBON.  ON THE BOTTOM I USED WHISPER WHITE WITH MY STAMPED SENTIMENT "CELEBRATE TODAY" FROM THE PERFECTLY PENNED STAMP SET AND THREE PUNCHED BLOSSOMS FOR DECORATION.  I ALSO SPONGED SO SAFFRON INK AROUND THE EDGE OF MY FLIP FLOP.

HERE IS A CLOSEUP SO YOU CAN SEE THE STAMPED IMAGE BETTER AND THE 3 CUTE BLOSSOMS.

I JUST COULDN'T LET THIS BLOG END WITHOUT POSTING A MANLY CARD FOR FATHER'S DAY COMING UP IN A FEW WEEKS.

THIS EASEL CARD IS MADE WITH A BASE OF NOT QUITE NAVY CARDSTOCK.  THE DSP  I AM GOING TO MISS THE MOST IN THE NEW CATALOG... RETIRING NAUTICAL EXPEDITION.  THE NOT QUITE NAVY AND REAL RED OF THE PAPERS ARE SO GOOD FOR MALE CARDS. I LOVE THE ANTIQUE MAP DESIGNS IN THIS PACK.  LOOK HOW CUTE THE WORLD MAP LOOKS AND THE LIGHTHOUSE FROM THE DSP.

I USED SHIMMERY WHITE FOR THE PAPER WHERE I STAMPED THE BOAT.  THAT IS WHY YOU SEE IT IN THE PHOTO SO BRIGHT.  BUT IN PERSON IT HAS A REAL SHIMMER TO IT.  I POPPED UP THE BILLOWING SAIL ON DIMENSIONALS TO MAKE IT BILLOW IN THE WIND.

WHAT'S THAT I SEE ON THE INSIDE OF THIS CARD?  TWO NEW ITEMS FOR YOU TO BE ABLE TO PURCHASE STARTING JUNE 1ST.  THE STAMP SET CALLED LAYERED LABELS AND THE FRAMELITS-APOTHECARY ACCENTS DIES. THEY MATCH PERFECTLY TO THIS STAMP SET.  FOUR FRAMELITS DIES TO CUT OUT THE STAMPS.

I ALSO USED SOME RED STRIPED BAKERS TWINE TO MAKE THE MANLY BOW.

THIS FOLDS UP TO FIT A STANDARD SIZED ENVELOPE.

MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE ME A COMMENT SO YOU CAN BE ENTERED INTO THE BLOG CANDY GIVE AWAY.  YOU MUST BE A FOLLOWER AND LEAVE A COMMENT ON ALL THREE POSTS.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DEMONSTRATOR, I HOPE YOU WILL CONSIDER USING ME FOR ALL YOUR STAMPING AND CRAFTING NEEDS.

DEMO GROUP CARD SWAP LAST NIGHT

We had so much fun at our demo group card swap last night.  It was at Carolyn's home and she had the cutest card for us to make.  Have I mentioned before that I LOVE all the wonderful embossing folders for my BIG SHOT??   Well I do and Carolyn used the Framed Tulips embossing folder for the front of this beautiful card, along with the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set and some yummy satin ribbon.  Early espresso and crumb cake are some of my favorites for a clean and simple look.  Wonderful!!

Rhonda made this next card in fun bright poppy parade.  She used the Strength and Hope stamp set, DSP, and some little pearls.  She also used the poppy parade polyester ribbon to match.  She fussy cut the butterfly out and popped it up so it's wings could flap.  I love how she put the butterfly on the white circle and had it slightly askew off the page.  Great Job Rhonda.

This next card is mine.  I used the Season of Friendship set for my card, stamped on Sahara Sand.  The card base is crumb cake (see I told you it is one of my all time favorites).  I stamped each leaf image three times to get the different gradation of the leaf colors for some depth.  And for a fun touch, I heat embossed the tummy of each bird with tangerine tango.  The sentiment is from the same set and I finished it off with our bakers twine in chocolate chip.  What do you think?  I would love to hear your comments please.  I enjoy hearing from you.

This next card is so cute and bright.  I believe it is Susan's card.  She used her Fun Flowers die for the Big shot to make the bright flower, added glitter inside the center button of the flower, and used brads to hold her sentiment on the card.  She used a border punch for the green dsp and Pacific Point striped ribbon down the center ties it all together.  I love this paper and am still hoarding some of it from this year's Sale-a-bration.  Really cute card Susan!!

Pat used her new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch for these flowers.  Such a bargain to get three different punches in one!  The leaves are stamped and then fussy cut individually and she added a border punch at the top.  Brads were used as the centers of the flowers.  Bright and fun.  Who wouldn't love to get this card in the mail?

The last card here is Dee's card.  The two tone blues are so pretty together, aren't they?  She used a delicate DSP for her background and some layered punches for the flowers which have brads in the center.  Her Baja Breeze striped ribbon.  That is what is so wonderful about SU papers, inks and ribbons, as well as accessories - they all match perfectly.  I LOVE IT.

Sorry about the shadow on my photos at the bottom.  It is not my finger in the way, there is something inside the camera blocking my lens.  I can't get it out so will have to take it to a camera shop to see what I can do.

As always, I am just an email or phone call away.  I would be happy to help you in all your crafting projects, won't you drop me a line?  You can order anytime from your home, on line at my stampin up website.

Have a great day and inky fingers y'all!!

Thank you gift set

I made this adorable (even if I do say so myself!) Thank you cards gift set complete with the gift box.  It is a wedding shower gift for the bride to have some personal thank you cards to mail out.

The colors are not showing up very well, so sorry.  But I used Night of Navy with Bashful Blue.  I used the Elizabeth single stamp, and then used the thank you from the Because I Care hostess set in the big catalog.  I used some DSP that I think I got as a hostess gift a while back, along with Bashful Blue 1" ribbon from the Clearance Rack and I tied it with some silver and gold cord (retired).

I used the navy brads from the brads collection as well as the decorative label punch or is it the designer label punch?  The small one!  ha  I can't remember which is which with those names.  This second photo shows the colors just a little bit better.  On the gift box I used the larage flower punch and the single stamp FOR YOU.

I got both the ELIZABETH stamp and the FOR YOU stamp FREE with Sale-a-bration.  YOU STILL HAVE A FEW MORE DAYS TO GET YOUR FREE ITEMS FROM ME.  Order $50 merchandise on my SU ordering site and get YOUR FREE ITEMS.

AND

THIS WEEK ONLY I AM GIVING OUT A FREE GIFT TO EVERYONE WHO ORDERS A MINIMUM OF $35 OF MERCHANDISE FROM ME.  I have several items for you to choose from - a new pack of card stock, a new marker, or some gently used discontinued stamp sets.

Happy stamping - have fun!!
