ANOTHER VIVID VASES CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

I have another card using the cute VIVID VASES single stamp in the Occasions Catalog.

This is a clean and simple CHALK BOARD card using wisteria wonder card stock as the base, a layer of whisper white on top of that and the stamped image on basic black.  The image is heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I used one of the edgelits to cute the card base and the white layer.  The black piece was die cut with Chalk Talk Framelits die.  I used the Chalk Marker to put the highlights on the vases.

A cute ruffled wisteria wonder ribbon bow finished off this card.

Thanks for visiting today.  I appreciate that you visit me.  Please leave me a comment, won't you?

SALE-A-BRATION WORKSHOP FUN

HEY BLOGGIES,

We had a workshop at Tammy's home last night and had a fun time making cards, visiting and sharing ideas.  With Sale-a-Bration right now, your friends WANT to get a free item, so why not invite them over to your home and let me bring supplies and have them made some fun cards?  You, as hostess, will earn extra hostess dollars to spend when you have a qualifying party.

Strawberry Slush and whisper white are the colors used in this fun card.  I got the idea from my manager Dawn G.  Thanks girlie!!  Everyone loved this card.

Banner Blast stamp set is a FREE item you can get when you place a minimum order of $50.  And we also used the Banner punch which is a FREE item as well.

Some baker's twine was wrapped around the card twice and then the banners attached.  The little heart is also in the Banner Blast stamp set.

I also used the Starburst Sayings stamp set and matching thinlits Dies for the sentiment "YOU MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE".  The stamp set and dies can be purchased in a bundle for 15% discount.

Everyone at the workshop LOVED the two Sale-a-Bration items we used on this card so much that they all got them both FOR FREE with their orders!!

A few smiling faces with their cards to prove how much fun this workshop was.  \

Contact me soon so I can schedule YOUR workshop as well.  I do long distance or VIRTUAL workshops as well - I send you everything you need for your attendees to make their cards at your own home and you send me their orders back by email.

Thanks for visiting.  Please stop by again soon.

VIVID VASES WATERCOLORING

HEY BLOGGIES,

At leadership a few weeks ago, we got the Vivid Vases single stamp and I am LOVIN' IT!!  It was so simple I think I looked right over it in the catalog, but now that I have been using it I AM HOOKED.

Here is a simple but pretty card I created with this cute stamp:

I used the Modern Medley designer paper for the lovely white polka dots on black background.  The card base is whisper white sponged around the edges with crushed curry ink.

First I used Stazon Black ink for the Vivid Vases stamped on watercolor paper.  Then I used the Oval Framelits Die to cut it out.  I used my Aqua Painter and Soft Sky ink for the water in the vases, then used my Markers to color the flowers.  I added one pink candy dot on the word LOT in "You're a whole lot of wonderful". Stampin dimensionals pops up the art work for this simple but fun card.

Thanks for visiting.  I shared this card at CAS(E) THIS SKETCH.

BEAUTIFUL WREATH FROM OUR NEW WREATH KIT

HEY BLOGGIES,

My friend and one of my downline members, Karen P. and I put together the Wreath Kit yesterday and I wanted to share it with you.

We had such a fun time to make our wreaths together at her home.

Here it is all finished and up on the door.  I have a porch overhang so it is protected from weather.  Since it is made from paper, burlap ribbon and cardboard, you don't want it to ever get wet.

This is a closeup so you can see the different types of flowers to create.  All the supplies except the hot glue is included in the kit.

These open POPPY-type flowers are the largest.  One large yellow one and 3 smaller ones in yellow, coral and light blue.

I love the ones made with the fringed paper.  And the top small blue water lily-type flower is so cute.  I snipped and cupped the inner layer so that it had more dimension and looks more like a water lily. The directions had it just be flat.

I would suggest getting one of these kits and making it with a friend or your family.  It is fun to make and a beautiful project when completed.

Any questions, let me know.

BANNER FRAMELITS CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

I have an easy and cute card for you today.  I started with the SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY SKETCH HERE:

Here is my take on this sketch.  I did move the sentiment to the top right instead of the bottom right, but I believe that is ok since the basic sketch is still there.

This is a clean and simple card that packs a lot of pretty!!

I even used a punch a different way to make the end of my flag with the sentiment on it.

Did you notice the pretty pearls in the centers of the flowers?  A little unusual pop of bling!!

Thanks for stopping by.

VALENTINE'S CARD - FLOWERFULL HEART

HEY BLOGGIES,

January is just flying by for me.  I am so glad I thought ahead and had my card club this week for Valentine's Day.  Eight lovely ladies came and really had fun making the projects.

I will show you one project we made as a daily post, ok?

I used this Photopolymer stamp set alone with the Flowerfull Heart for this project.

The SWEET was stamped on the inside along with a heart  Both stamped in Raspberry Ripple.

Hugs and kisses were stamped with versa mark all over the top half of the card.  The cardstock is Primrose Pink.

A lovely tea doily was used underneath the water color looking hearts.  We created these hearts by using drops of reinkers on a piece of felt, and using that as the stamp pad.  The reinkers are from the Subtles set to keep with the water color look.  I think it would have looked even better by sponging Raspberry Ripple around the edges of the heart.  We used the Heart Framelits to die cut the hearts.

Small heart punches of Raspberry Ripple card stock were attached on the left bottom, slightly overlapping the seam binding and grosgrain ribbon, which is tied in a knot.  Lastly two way glue was dotted here and there on the flowers of the heart stamp and Dazzling Diamonds were added.  DD was also added to the small stamped heart in the right bottom corner.
